My name is Matt Anderson, and I am the Co-Founder / Executive Director for the Branched Oak Observatory. On June 15th, we are having our very first First Responders Appreciation Day! As a former EMT with Ashland Rescue during the late 80s and into the mid 90s, I fully understand the sacrifices that a volunteer makes in serving their community. Missed family events, birthday parties, you name it, we've all missed it. Our organization wanted to extend a chance to all of you and your families to come, unwind, and have some fun. Below is a list of the planned activities, and there is an attached flyer to distribute. I hope that you can come and make it. This is open to all currently serving and or retired volunteers and Paid staff in Police, Fire, Rescue, EMT, Paramedic, Sheriff's, State Patrol, and Dispatchers. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Their entrance to the event is FREE. Family members have a $5.00 admission fee for those 5 years of age and above. Families of 4 or more, including grandparents, are just $20.00. We have a lot going on, and it promises to be fun. We would appreciate it if you could tell us if you plan on coming. We want to make sure our food vendor has enough for the entire crew!
