Big Brothers Big Sisters Lincoln Hosts Annual Bigger Together Luncheon to Empower Local Youth

.

Big Brothers Big Sisters Lincoln (BBBSL) is excited to announce the return of its Bigger Together Luncheon, an annual event aimed at fostering community partnerships and raising essential funds for Little and Big mentoring matches. This year's luncheon will be on September 25th and is dedicated to supporting the organization's mission of creating and supporting one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. Attendees will learn more about how they can support BBBSL’s community-based program.

The Bigger Together Luncheon brings together community leaders, partners, and supporters who are united in their commitment to making a difference in the lives of local youth. The funds raised at this event are crucial in enabling Big Brothers Big Sisters Lincoln to continue providing opportunities and resources that help to empower young people’s potential in our community.

BBBS Lincoln’s Director of Community Engagement, Amber C. Nore, expressed enthusiasm for the event, stating, "The Bigger Together Luncheon is a terrific display of our mission for Lincoln’s youth and our fundraising efforts, allowing us to make meaningful mentoring experiences throughout the city. We look forward to sharing exciting updates from the BBBS Lincoln program with our guests!"

The luncheon will be hosted at the Talon Room, an event space in downtown Lincoln. This year promises to be an engaging experience, featuring a complimentary lunch, keynote speakers, and success stories from Littles and Bigs that highlight the genuine impact of having a mentor. With a focus on community engagement, the event highlights the powerful message that we are all "bigger together."
