Leaders Lead featuring Nebraska Volleyball Champion Rachel Culwell
CEF FIRST TUESDAYS
“LEADERS LEAD”
Our Leaders Lead event for April 4th features former Husker Husker Volleyball player Rachel (Schwarz) Culwell! Rachel was a walk-on athlete who became a standout Husker volleyball player during her college career. Born and raised in Lincoln, she graduated from Lincoln East in 2005, and played with the Huskers from 2005-2008. During that time, the Huskers won a National Championship, and progressed to the volleyball Final Four three times. She was selected multiple years as a Second Team Academic-All American. After her volleyball career, she attended Grad school and worked as a Grad Assistant for the University Recreation Center for Wellness Department. During this time, the and her husband, Tim, were married and she began her club volleyball and high school coaching career. She coached for two seasons at Lincoln Christian School before having their first daughter, Everleigh. After her daughter was born, she felt the Lord calling her to a new calling, focusing on the family the Lord had given her. The Lord gave them another daughter, Embree. While leading as a Mother is her full-time calling, she also is coaching club volleyball. Walking alongside young women through life ahs become her new passion, which includes her own children. Please join us April 4th. You won’t want to Rachel share how her faith in Christ inspires her in navigating leadership both personally and professionally.
