Speaker: Cameron Smith, President & Co-founder, Kodiak Cakes
Topic: What would you do if someone told you that the business you had today would grow to be 200x bigger than it currently is? What personal skills would you want to gain before it got bigger? What potential stumbling blocks would you encounter on your path to that growth? Cameron Smith has had the opportunity to be a part of Kodiak’s success from under $1mm to over $200mm in sales. He will be sharing lessons that he has learned on personal development, thinking differently, and building a sustainable brand. He will also share how to stay ahead of your competitors and continue redefining yourself and your business.
Bio: After graduating with a business degree from the University of Utah, Cameron was eager to use his education and entrepreneurial nature when he partnered with Joel in 2009. As President and Co-Founder at Kodiak Cakes, Cameron has proven himself to be a disruptor in the food industry by the way he immediately questions the status quo by asking, “Why?”. His constant questioning of norms allows him to discover new solutions and drives the company towards innovative, new categories. When Cameron isn’t in the office, he can be found trail running or mountain biking on Park City’s many trails or enjoying the outdoors with his wife and four kids.
