Sam Manzitto Jr., President, Manzitto, Inc., Kinetic Sports Complex 

Growing up in a family with over 100 years of real estate and construction experience has instilled a passion for real estate development in Sam. He received his bachelors from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln and later his masters from Bellevue University.  

Sam is a strategic leader and entrepreneur with a vast amount of experience in construction, development and real estate. With a broad spectrum of experience in each sector of the real estate industry, he is adept at managing projects through all phases of the real estate and construction life cycle. He also has a high level of experience in creative real estate investment. Innovative finance is a sought-after strength of Sam’s that aids in the success of many of his endeavors.  As of recent his main focus has been commercial development, including but not limited to The Preserve, Old Cheney Rehabilitation, Antelope Creek Family Physicians, Village Gardens, Home Services and Hiro 88 and Local Restaurant Concepts.

Dan Lesoing, President, Lincoln Sports Foundation

Dan Lesoing is the owner/operator of Lesoing’s, Inc. DBA Lesoing’s Truck and Radiator Repair (est. 1975). He took over the small, family business 24 years ago after his father had a heart attack and retired.

In 1997, Dan founded the Lincoln Cornhuskers DBA Cornhusker Shooting Stars, a 501 (3) C, basketball program to give female athletes the same opportunities as their male counterparts. Dan’s desire to teach character, commitment and hard work through basketball have helped numerous players fulfill their goals of playing at a higher level. Dan still volunteers his time coaching and directing today.

In 2011, he also became the President of the Lincoln Sports Foundation (LSF), which owned and operated the Ethel S. Abbott Sports Complex. In January 2019 it was renamed the LSF Sports Complex, and Dan remains President. Under Dan’s leadership, LSF has renewed and strengthened its focus on providing opportunities for all youth to have access to quality athletic facilities and programs to reach their full potential as student athletes.

Dan and his wife Jen live in Lincoln, NE, and raise six children. He enjoys time at the lake, snow skiing and watching old musicals.

Lloyd Williams, Director, Speedway Village

Lloyd Williams is the Director at Speedway Sports complex. He comes from a basketball background where he played and coached at the men’s Division one level. He is from Dallas, TX, and played college basketball at UTSA. His latest stop before coming to Lincoln was in Vermillion, SD, where he coached men’s basketball at USD and started his own training business there in Vermillion. He is married with two girls and his wife is Amy Williams who is the current Women’s Basketball Coach at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
