This month's Public Policy Forum will feature State Senators Jason Prokop and Paul Strommen, who are both members of the legislature's Appropriations Committee. The senators will talk about state budget issues and any other priority issues being discussed in this year's legislative session.

Topic: State budget issues and other priority issues being discussed in this year's 2026 State Legislative session.

 

Senator Jason Prokop represents Nebraska's District 27 (West Lincoln/Lancaster County) and is the Director of First Five Nebraska, a non-profit that sparks public interest in effective, innovative early childhood policies.
Senator Paul Strommen represents Nebraska's District 47 (Northwest Nebraska/Panhandle) and is an attorney and small business owner in Sidney, having formerly served as a Sidney City Council member.
