Speakers:


Jason Fortik has been with LES for 30 years and is the vice president of Power Supply. In his role, he is responsible for resource and transmission planning and generation production cost modeling and expansion planning. Under his direction, members of the Power Supply team also maintain and operate LES’ local generation resources.

 
 

Emily Koenig is the chief financial officer and vice president of Financial Services at LES. As CFO, she oversees financial planning, risk management, accounting, budgeting, and rates and forecasting for the utility. She has been with LES for 26 years.
 

 
 
 

Lisa Hale is the vice president of Customer Services at LES. She oversees all customer service functions, credit and billing, energy services, business key accounts, meter technology and economic development. Prior to joining LES in 2012, she held various leadership roles at the gas and water utility in Omaha.

 
 
 

Emeka Anyanwu is the chief executive officer at LES. Prior to joining LES in January 2024, he served as the Energy Innovation & Resources officer at Seattle City Light. In that role, he was responsible for leading strategic functions that included utility technology, information security, electrification, grid modernization, and current and future power resource strategy. Before going to Seattle, Emeka spent 16 years with Kansas City Power and Light (now Evergy) in a variety of roles in transmission & distribution operations.
