Be Safe Nebraska

.

Safety is always one of the most important measures to consider in the workplace, not only for our companies themselves but especially our employees and our customers.

With our businesses looking to regain normalcy in their operations, it’s important for companies to ensure safety is a top priority as the recovery begins.

The Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, along with the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Greater Omaha Chamber and other Chambers and business organizations across the state, are proud to partner with the National Safety Council, Nebraska Chapter on an initiative that focuses on the safety of our companies going forward.

The voluntary process is called “Be Safe Nebraska” and allows companies across the state to pledge to adopt best safety practices to keep employees, customers and partners safe during the ongoing pandemic.

Businesses that participate can complete the pledge at BeSafeNebraska.com. Ultimately, this pledge represents a commitment to diligently protect our stakeholders for the good of our community.

Companies who have taken the pledge and implemented all items on the risk assessment document will receive a Certificate of Commitment and social media promotional materials to notify their employees, customers and suppliers of their commitment.

We can all protect our employees and customers by adhering to local and federal guidelines that promote safe environments. Ensuring our customers are confident in the safety measures in place will positively impact our community’s recovery process.

The Lincoln Chamber strongly encourages all Lincoln businesses to take the pledge and help keep Nebraskans safe in the days and weeks ahead.
