Gifting for Good on Gift Shop Sunday

With the arrival of the holidays, the Lincoln Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) and a group of 12 local attractions and venues are gearing up for Gift Shop Sunday.

The event takes place on Sunday, November 28 and is designed to showcase the attractions and opportunities in Lincoln with wide appeal. In the kickoff weekend to the busy holiday shopping season, each venue offers a unique opportunity with special deals through their gift shop or through their website.

“These amazing attractions offer something unique for our community, especially when it comes to meaningful and educational experiences,” according to Jeff Maul, executive director of the Lincoln CVB. 

“This is an opportunity to ‘gift for good’ and highlight the offerings of these 12 venues throughout the holiday season and beyond,” Maul concludes.

From gift certificates to books, shirts, educational items and more, the 12 participating venues provide family-friendly outings that showcase the educational, enriching and fun activities throughout Lincoln for people of all ages. Shoppers and venues are encouraged to use the hashtag #GiftShopSunday on social media platforms.

Constellation Studios, Lancaster Event Center, Lincoln Arts Council, Lincoln Children’s Museum, Lincoln Paddle Company, Lost in Fun!, LUX Center for the Arts, Nebraska Game and Parks Outdoor Education Center, Pioneers Park Nature Center, Robber’s Cave Tours, Spring Creek Prairie Audubon Center and THE LOFT by Lee Douglas Interiors.
