Dec. 11 - Tax Prep Workshop

This workshop will provide you with a roadmap of tasks to have accomplished before you meet with your CPA to have your tax returns prepared. Participants, whether a new or established business, will gain an understanding of the following:

• General best practices for running small business financial management
• Prepare for your tax appointment
• General expectations for paying taxes
• The difference between income tax and self-employment tax
• Tax planning: strategies for tax savings
• How to choose a CPA and make sure he/she is a great fit
