Director O'Donnell will review current trade issues and provide an overview of the goals and plans of the Clayton Yeutter Institute of International Trade & Finance. As the number one trade dependent state per person in the country, Nebraska has a keen interest in trade. The Lincoln Chamber has advocated for free trade and updating of multi-lateral trade agreements, such as the proposed trade agreement between the United State, Mexico and Canada. Director O'Donnell also will discuss the impact of tariffs and on-going trade challenges we are currently experiencing with some of our trading partners.
