State Tax Commissioner Tony Fulton will discuss state plans for administrative implementation of the South Dakota v. Wayfair U.S. Supreme Court decision permitting the collection of state sales taxes from internet sales. Both administrative action and statutory updates may be warranted to fully implement the decision, with revenue gains for the state as well as cities (such as Lincoln) with local option sales taxes. Public Policy forums are held the fourth Wednesday of the month at 8 a.m. and are open to the entire membership. There is no cost to attend. Powered by: IMSCORP
