The 2010 Women in Business Conference will be held on Wednesday, March 31 at the Country Club of Lincoln from 9:00 a.m. -1:00 a.m. featuring keynote speaker Lisbeth McNabb founder of w2wlink.com. This year's event will focus on Innovative Leadership. The day will be packed full of useful tools for leadership along with building networks, marketing, and successfully utilizing social media tools.

The sixth annual Women in Business Conference will feature Elizabeth McNabb, University of Lincoln Alumni and founder of w2wlink. w2wlink.com is the premier community dedicated to professional women. They provide you expert knowledge, tools to overcome obstacles, and connect with others in online groups.

Dr. Mary Uhl-Bien of the Institute for Innovative Leadership at the University of Nebraska will describe new perspectives on leadership focusing on how individuals inside organizations become key leaders of innovation when they identify new opportunities and solutions to problems and help champion these ideas to promote adaptive change in organizations.

A panel of Lincoln’s brightest women working in marketing will cover topics to include social media, online presence and gorilla marketing tactics. This will be an interactive session where attendees will learn how these tools can be used to promote a business, a cause or their own personal brand.

This event is a partnership between the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce and the University of Nebraska Lincoln’s College of Business Administration.

This annual, half-day seminar is held in cooperation with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Business Administration will focus on topics such as communications, time management and financial strategies.  The half-day event includes a luncheon with a keynote speaker.
